I would highly recommend Matrix! Tracy and Ryan were very friendly and professional during their initial evaluation. Allstate denied our initial claim and they got another inspection scheduled and worked with Allstate to get it approved. All I had to do was answer a couple short phone calls from Allstate.Once it was approved, David was over the next day to go over the paperwork and details for our roof, gutters and garage door. He was also very helpful, professional and knowledgeable.The Matrix team was over at 7am sharp and replaced the roof and gutters and were finished by 1pm with everything done perfectly and cleaned up thoroughly.Our garage door was ordered the next day and was installed the same day it arrived. Again, very friendly and professional.I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! And to top it off, David had his team come back and repair a hole in our soffit from a squirrel that wasn’t part of our insurance claim.I appreciate everyone’s hard work and good communication. It was such a relief having everything completed quickly and without having to deal with Allstate. I’ve recommended them to my neighbors and family already.

We were very happy with our choice to hire Mr. Eric Perto and his team with Matrix. We had a tree land on our house from a bad storm and the insurance company was not cooperating.Eric and his team quicky took over the claim and got us the appropriate pay needed to complete the restoration of my home. The work was done in a timely manner and like brand new! I can't thank Matrix enough for their hard work and dedication. Highly recommend!

We had such a good experience with Matrix Exteriors. They came highly recommended by our neighbor and we could see why as soon as David came to give us an estimate. Very professional meeting, he gave us all the details and the price was very reasonable. He pulled the permit and was at our house early the day of installation. My husband being a contractor himself, he could tell that David's team is knowledgeable and did an outstanding job. They left everything clean. We are very happy with the service we received and with the fact that it really was easy. No cutting corners and working without permit on a Sunday like other roofers suggested. Will recommend Matrix to anyone who needs a new roof.

I hired Matrix Exteriors to install a new roof, new gutters, and new leaf-guards on my home. David the man in charge handle the process will the utmost professionalism. He explained a detail to were I understood and felt comfortable hiring him. Then 2 days later he showed up a 7am sharp with a crew and they finished the entire job in one day. This is by far the BEST company I have ever had the pleasure of working with!! My parents are seniors and had a roof that was not properly installed. It was excellent working with David. I had come across Matrix Exteriors using BBB reviews and was the best in my area. He had not only given awesome pricing that had beat all his competitors but the speed at which he completed the work was unbelievable. I had hired his company to do my roof replacement but ended up replacing all my sidings with fascia and soffits. Matrix is absolutely marvelous. My wife and I couldn't be happier. The turnaround time between signing the contract and the completion of the project was a blink of the eye. Within a few days of signing off on the project, the project was completed--a new roof and new siding. From selecting the color and style of the roof and siding to making sure every detail was exactly the way we wanted, Matrix was superb. They made our vision their vision. Matrix did our roof and siding. It turned out beautiful. We picked a hard to get color but David was able to get it for us. The work was done very fast with great attention to detail. Communication was great if we had questions or concerns. David always got back to us in a timely manner. Our house looks beautiful. I would definitely recommend this company. Update on my original review. We still love everything. Matrix did . A couple weeks after our siding installation we installed a new air conditioner and needed sealant that matched our siding. We contacted David and he got it to us right away. David really goes above and beyond for his clients. It was a pleasure working with him and his crew.

From the time I met with David and agreed on a contract the work was started in 2 days. David and his crew were always responsive and showed up on time. They worked long hours to completely transform our house in 2 days.We are very happy with the results and feel this is a great place to do business with. Matrix is phenomenal. David, Dimas, Carlos & the Matrix guys are forces of nature! Have an older home in Oak Brook with cedar shake, flat roof, skylights, fascia bird damage, and stone chimney. Not a simple roof project. Got 8 estimates with the whole range from high-end North Shore roofers to those mail coupon roofers. After the initial quote, some of these guys just disappeared when I called to follow up. Or they were 4-8 weeks out plus vague supply chain delays. Called David on Thursday, got an appointment for the next day on Friday 3 pm, and scheduled for our new roof on Tuesday 6:30 am. 3 Matrix trucks showed up on Tuesday morning 6 am sharp! Roof done in 2 days, within 1 week of meeting with David. Unbelievable! They surpassed our expectations in every detail, including coming back to change the gutter color to my wife’s liking. 5 star service from start to finish & affordable. We now trust Matrix for our other interior & exterior projects. Our wholehearted gratitude to Matrix & David!

As first time home owners, the prospect of getting our roof replaced was overwhelming. Working with David, his intentionality in his communication of the process and his diligence had our project completed in a span of 24 hours. As a skeptical person, I was worried about surprise fees or charges. David worked with me to make sure i knew exactly where my money was going, and I felt heard when I had questions of concerns. As a larger company, Matrix exteriors called my insurance providers, helped with my claim and completed my full roof replacement, gutter replacement and downspout replacement. It was a relief to have one company that can truly handle all my concerns. After the roof was the replaced, the team cleaned thoroughly and triple checked to make sure there were no nails on the ground around the house (we have small children so this was a relief) Through this process I felt heard and important. David made sure I knew my business was important to him and I'm so glad to have worked with them. I would recommend them to anyone looking for professionalism, straightforward and honest communication and peace of mind.

Matrix Exteriors help with my Statfarm insurance claim. The insurance carrier tried everthing they could to not pay me. But Matrix did not give up and there perseverance and intelligent approach got my insurance claim approved and then 2 days after being approved my house got a new roof installed along with 54 pieces of new plywood all in one day. Matrix provided excellent 5 star service. I can not recommend them highly enough. I had hail damage to my house and garage roofs from a storm and they quickly assessed the damage, submitted information to my insurance company and completed service in less than 2 weeks time. David did an amazing job setting and meeting expectations. He made promises and delivered every time. Not only did he replace my roofs but he corrected a lot of issues that he was not required to address – venting an overheated attic, hooking up kitchen and bathroom exhaust fans, putting gutters on my garage, replacing rotten fascia. The roofing crew was efficient and professional and cleaned up so well that you would never have known that it had been the site of a massive roofing project. Their superior workmanship enabled them to provide a 50 year transferable warranty. Highly recommended!!

I learned of Matrix through a work colleague who detailed their excellent experience working with Matrix. I couldn't have been happier with every step of the process, from initial consultation, to representing us with the insurance company, and most importantly, the craftmanship of the work. The roofers were early and wasted no time in getting started. They worked quickly and completed the project much quicker than anticipated which limited any impact on my day. The swift work doesn't mean they cut any corners. All work was completed properly and they waited for final sign-off before wrapping up. There was a follow up after the fact to ensure everything was still as expected which I really appreciated. I would recommend Matrix to everyone looking to have work done on their home.

I cannot speak highly enough of Matrix Exteriors! We contacted them to inquire about a roof replacement on our Jefferson Park home (built in 1902). David Ortiz was our production coordinator/project manager and let me say that man hustles! He was extremely diligent in making sure that we got the best bang for our buck but never compromised on quality. He was attentive, responsive, and connected us with a public insurance adjuster who helped us navigate the project and our expenses. After some inspections and minimal back and forth we got the good news on cost/insurance coverage from recent storm damage. We first connected with Matrix right before Memorial Day weekend... three weeks later we have brand new and gorgeous roof, siding, gutters, etc. The construction teams were extremely professional and hardworking. They were mindful of our home, and were really accommodating if we needed them to move materials or equipment so that my mother-in-law with limited mobility could get in/out of the house safely. Truly a 10/10 experience. Everyone we interacted with was simply top notch. We will absolutely be contacting this team again for future home improvement needs. Amazing!

I had Matrix come out and re do my siding. One they were so professional, on time and fast. It only took them 2 days to replace the whole siding on my house and it looks great. Before they started the work David came out and showed my wife and I few colors to choose from. He guided us on what colors work best with our roof and the brick colors. I chose Matrix to replace my roof. I was recommended to Matrix Exterior company by my neighbor. David from Matrix came to my home to give me the free quote. He was very courteous, patient, and knowledgeable. He spent time to discuss my roof’s current condition, offered suggestions on material selection and design. When came install day, a team of 8-10 people showed up, working very quickly to remove the existing shingles. Then the lead installer flew a drone up to inspect the roof, making sure there is no hidden issues with the existing wood. The install team then went to work in installing the new underlayment and shingles. They finished in one day! After the install, the team cleaned up all the garbage in the yard. The following day, a new team came to install brand new gutters with screen. David and his entire crew were very professional, organized, efficient, the workmanship was top notch, amazing team, they finished a big job in two days. I am incredibly pleased with Matrix’s professionalism and quality of work, I highly recommend to anyone who is in need a new roof and looking for reliable company, go Matrix!!!

Matrix Exteriors was absolutely amazing! I was very skeptical at first. But their honesty and workmanship prevailed. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get their siding/roof done. Their employees were nothing but respectful and great at the end of the project leaving it nice and clean. Highly recommend them!

I give Matrix Exteriors 5 stars and would recommend them to our family and neighbors!Initial Meetings/ Contract: David did a great job communicating the process to us and estimated timeline. They went above and beyond what we expected of them. He is an honest guy to work with and works hard to build trust and a rapport with us. If I had questions, I just texted him as they can sometime be busy with numerous jobs but that is expected of a good contractor. I initially found Matrix from their Google reviews and was surprised at some of the negative feedback some people gave them but we decided to give them a chance and we were glad we did! I never write reviews but appreciate the hardwork, dedication, and pride David and his crew puts in his business that I really wanted to write a review.His Crew: They arrived on time and were very professional. As they were removing the old siding, they found damage underneath to the wood on the house. The Matrix guys went ahead and fixed it by removing the damaged material and installing brand new plywood, no questions asked. Very much appreciate their desire to do the job right! I snapped a few pictures as they were working. They spaced the nails on the studs to ensure the siding was secure and floating - I know you may say that's standard but I can assure you it takes a true Craftsman and people that care about their quality of work to FIND and DRIVE nails into the studs manually. They also caulked the trim and the windows, and not just with any caulk, but they matched the siding with silver caulk and the windows with white caulk. This is the attention to detail that should not be overlooked or taken for granted. The crew worked well into the night and completed the work in 2.5 days (8am-7pm) - removal, tyvek/taping, siding, versetta stone, soffits, facia, gutters, downspouts, caulking - and they cleaned up. You will need to expect that there will be nails in your yard and they do there best to clean up most that they can see. Anyone that has done any work on a house will know you are not going to climb down a ladder/ scaffolding to pick up every nail you drop but they sincerely did there best so we appreciate that. The job site cleanup was excellent and we were satisfied. We had no stress with this contractor and we have had many contractors do work for us in the past. Our house looks amazing as promised!I would highly recommend Matrix Exteriors.

So far the experience with Matrix has been great. Handled the inspection with the insurance company, got the roof approved, and is going to do the work next week.Everyone along the way has been super helpful and courteous.
