EPDM Roofing Professionals
EPDM roofing is most commonly known as rubber roofing, rubber membrane roofing, or rolled rubber roofing. It’s made of a mixture of recycled tires, sawdust, and slate dust. EPDM stands for (ethylene propylene diene monomer), which is an elastomeric compound that is very resilient material and can be used in many different applications. EPDM comes in 10 to 20 feet wide rolls that are usually 50 or 100 linear feet long. See this video for an example of how these roofs are installed.
EPDM can be attached mechanically or fully adhered. It can withstand extreme cold without breaking or cracking or becoming brittle. Superior to hail resistance usually has up to a 40-year life expectancy. This product can withstand ultraviolet light, weathering and abrasion. Contact Us today for a free, no-obligation estimate.
